I have so enjoyed working with Chris & Lezlee! Their wedding day weather may have been a bit misty but nothing could dampen the love and excitement of these two and all of their friends and family! The ceremony was at St. Catherine of Siena and after a quick stop for some portraits downtown the party bus carried the happy wedding party to Noah’s to celebrate with all of their loved ones. Every detail was planned to perfection but the best part for me was seeing absolutely every person there smiling, laughing, and having a wonderful time. Smiles and happiness all around 🙂

Congratulations Chris & Lezlee!!

I had so much fun photographing this family! These two little guys kept their parents running (quite literally!) during this shoot. I commented that I was glad we were in November and not July or we’d all be melting from trying to keep up with the boys 🙂 And, although they were busy little guys, with Mom & Dad’s help we were able to get some great portraits of these handsome little guys.

Kenton is the son of good friends of ours who we’ve known for years. Our kids have all gone to school together and love to hang out. His family has a wonderful dairy in Whitewater and our city kids always get a kick out of hanging out at the farm and helping with the chores–which the country kids find very amusing but I’m sure they don’t mind the help 😉 Kenton is now the third kiddo from their family I’ve had the privilege of photographing during their senior year. Time just doesn’t slow down! Happy senior year Kenton! We know you’re looking forward to graduation and wish you all the best!

We’ve been playing hide and seek with the sun lately so I was thrilled that we had a warm and sunny afternoon for Clay & Abby’s engagement session. The weather and location were perfect and subjects were pretty awesome too 🙂 We made sure to include Brody in some of the photos as well and, boy, he really knows how to shine in front of a camera! I can’t wait to see how much fun we have on the wedding day next spring!

Nothing makes me smile more than hearing from an old friend. And while Facebook makes it possible to stay up to date with friends and family from all over the world it’s so great to see each other in person from time to time. That was exactly what I was able to do with the Martin family recently. Jennifer and I have known each other since kindergarten! She was back in town with her family as was her sister so they decided it was time for an updated family portrait. We had to dodge some sprinkles and think warm thoughts but we were able to catch up a little and capture some lovely fall family portraits.
