We had such a wonderful time learning about April and Jimmy’s unique story and capturing their beautiful wedding day. These two met overseas on separate trips and reconnected back in the states. Jimmy is in the military and originally from Hawaii and April is a Wichita native. They had a Laos wedding ceremony on a Friday with the traditional western ceremony on the following Saturday. Both ceremonies were lovely to witness and their friends and family filled up their venues and truly appreciated their union. April’s family hosted the traditional ceremony at their home while the second ceremony was at the Abode Venue. April wore a timeless wedding gown and the men’s tuxes courtesy of Men’s Warehouse were the perfect compliment to the ladies attire by David’s Bridal. Jimmy did a great job picking out April’s wedding ring from Kay Jewelers, check it out — it’s stunning!
Abode was styled by the very talented Addison Grace Events staff. They did a fabulous job with color and design and I am thrilled to show off their hard work in my images. Also, Krista designed some stunning floral arrangements with the help of flowers from the Flower Factory.
Tyler with Another Dimension had the dance floor packed mixing music from the different cultures and it was a lot of fun to be a part of. They always do a fantastic job! Blue Moon Catering starting the scrumptious dinner and I did get a chance to try the delicious cake created by Cake Affairs, yummo!!
Along side us for the day was Free Spirit Productions who captured their story with video, feel free to check out their video on their website.
Congratulations again to April and Jimmy and thank you for choosing Lola Jo Photo Design to create images for you to enjoy for years to come.
